L'industrie regroupe un très grand nombre de secteurs industriels différents dont les plus importants en émissions de GES sont la papeterie, le ciment, l'acier, l'aluminium, la chimie. Pour réduire les émissions de l'industrie, la solution consiste à allonger la durée de vie des produits, voire à réduire leur consommation.

Industry is comprised of many different sectors, the most prominent in terms of GHG emissions being the paper, cement, steel, aluminium and chemicals industries. In order to reduce emissions from industry, the solution lies in extending the lifespan of products and reducing consumption.

Explanation

This is the manufacturing of all consumer goods. Industry is comprised of many different sectors, the most prominent in terms of GHG emissions being the paper, cement, steel, aluminium and chemicals industries. In order to reduce emissions from industry, the solution lies in extending the lifespan of products and reducing consumption.
